Hello Cougar Band Families: BHS Marching Band Camp 2023 is Here!

Monday, August 14th - Friday, August 18th

9am - 9pm

We, your Bothell Music Boosters board, need your help to help make band camp a great experience for our students. Please see information below for signing up to help with dinners & marching band uniform measuring. Thank you!





Bothell Music Boosters coordinates and provides dinner for our hungry teenagers to help them fuel up for a great week of music and marching!

We are in need of main and side dishes, desserts, and beverages for each evening.

Please use the following link to sign up to donate and/or serve for one or more meals:

  • Friday Aug. 18 No Dinner. End-of-Camp Performance @ 6pm!

We appreciate your donations. Non-perishable items may be delivered by your student in the morning, or brought by you later in the day. Perishable items need to be delivered to the courtyard outside the BHS bandroom between 4:30 and 4:45pm, to be ready to serve students at 5:00pm.

Please be sure to label items that need to be returned (i.e. coolers, crock pots). These items may be picked up by your student after dinner or at the end of rehearsal. They will be placed on the benches in the courtyard or outside the entrance to the band room hallway.

We are doing our best to accommodate gluten-free and vegetarian needs, but cannot guarantee no cross-contamination. If your child has dietary restrictions not accommodated in the spots, please send them with their own dinner.

We also really need help with Set-up, Serving, and Clean-up for each night.

Another need we have is for several parents armed with flexible measuring tapes to help measure the students for their marching band uniforms: pants, jackets, shako hats, and shoes.

  • Their Instrument (or make sure it is availalble at school)

  • A Sack Lunch (no off campus lunch will be allowed)

  • Refillable Water Bottle - these are hot summer days and our students are working hard at camp!

  • A “BHS Instrumental Music” -Tshirt ($10) - for Friday's End-of-Camp Performance, future pep assemblies, non-marching Pep Band game nights, etc. Find purchasing details below.

  • Marching Band Shoes ($40): Specific style required and provided by the school. Find purchasing details below.*

  • A Flip Folder for music: Please bring from home if your student already has one or these will be provided at camp. Flip folders will need a total of 15 pages (each with a front & back, so space for 30 pieces of music).

  • Sunscreen - helpful to have as they'll be spending a good amount of time outside for marching practice, sectionals, and meals. 

  • Mask (optional?) - We are not sure what the directions will be yet regarding masks during camp. Please have your student bring a mask to camp just in case.





If your student does NOT have a fitting BHS Instrumental Music T-shirt and BHS issued Marching Shoes from previous years we will need to know each student's t-shirt size & shoe size - Please purchase these as soon as possible.

  • You can also send payment to band camp, with your student, in forms of Cash (exact change) or Check (made out to: BHS Music Boosters).

  • There is also possibilty of receiving a pair of marching band shoes that have been donated to our BHS Music Uniform Exchange, pending size availability*. 

  • Additionally, please be aware that a $25 Marching Band Uniform Cleaning fee will be added to your student's account through the BHS office so please watch for this. Scholarships are also available for this cost through Bothell Music Boosters if needed, please contact .

*Uniform Exchange Closet - If your family has marching band shoes that no longer fit your student please consider donating them to our Uniform Exchange to be gifted to another student at no cost. We're also collecting concert clothing - black pants & skirts, white button up shirts, tuxedo components, black shoes, and socks. Items can be donated during camp - or connect with us via to setup a time to donate (or visit) the uniform exchange closet.
