We are excited to announce that Bothell High School Jazz Ensemble 1  has been selected as one of 20 of the nation's best high school jazz bands to perform at the 31st Annual Essentially Ellington Jazz Competition & Festival in New York ! Under the direction of Zane Romanek , this marks Bothell High School’s 5th consecutive invitation  to perform at Essentially Ellington. We need your financial support to travel to New York! Thank you to all of you who are starting to raise funds for our Jazz 1 trip to Essentially Ellington at the end of April. There will be many ways you can all participate with us to get these students to NYC for the 5th year in a row!  One easy way is enjoying some delicious pizza next week at Uncle Peteza's.  There are 2 days to choose from - Wed, March 4th & Thurs, March 5th !  Tell your local friends & family - this is a great way to help raise some much needed funds!

January 10th 8-10am BHS Music Boosters will be hosting an all-music event at Applebee's in Canyon Park ( Maps link ) . Breakfast will be served by our very own BHS Music students.  Tickets cost $15 per person and include pancakes, eggs, bacon, coffee & orange juice.  We will also have some musical performances.  Bring the whole family for an affordable & delicious breakfast. You won't want to miss this fun event!  There will also be raffle tickets available for purchase for

Bothell Music Boosters is selling candygrams and roses at this year's BHS Winter Music Concerts. Concert attendees may purchase a candygram with a note of encouragement to be delivered to your band, choir, or orchestra students in their classes the day following the concerts. Some concerts may have roses available for purchase to give to students after the concert. Pick up will be in the NPAC at BHS on  Tuesday, November 25th from 3:15pm to 7pm & Wednesday, November 26th from 11:30am to 3pm .  Whatever is not picked up will be donated, as we are unable to store over the long weekend.  We will need some volunteers to help sort & distribute.  If you can spare some time, this is a fun way that any music family can help support the music program.   Please see our available opportunities:   Sorting on Nov 25th   '25 Poinsettia & Greens Sorti

Our annual BHS-hosted  Jazz Festival with Concessions is on November 22nd from 7 AM to 4 PM . This is a fantastic event, and we would love your help in making it a success!   We need some food donations to be dropped off in the days ahead of the festival.  We also have opportunities to volunteer selling concessions with a lot of support from our Music Boosters. There will be time to watch some of the jazz performances.  Feel free to sign up with a friend to share the fun! Ple
