Bothell Jazz 1 Earns Spot at Essentially Ellington in NYC!

We are excited to announce that Bothell High School Jazz Ensemble 1 has been selected as one of 20 of the nation's best high school jazz bands to perform at the 31st Annual Essentially Ellington Jazz Competition & Festival in New York!

Under the direction of Zane Romanek, this marks Bothell High School’s 5th consecutive invitation to perform at Essentially Ellington.

We need your financial support to travel to New York! The trip for 20 musicians, 3 chaperones, and our Jazz Band Director requires significant funding. The group will spend 6 days and 5 nights in New York. The itinerary includes 3 festival days, 2 travel days, and 1 day to explore the city. Your contribution helps reduce costs for our musicians, and allows all students to participate without excessive financial burden. Your donation is tax-deductible.
